Curriculum
The Black Teacher Archive is not only a repository. It can also be a teaching tool. The primary sources held here have always been in conversation with the classroom, and the curriculum resources here help to make that conversation explicit. Each resource is developed in direct relationship with BTA holdings and with the scholarship that grounds this archive's mission: that Black teachers were not just practitioners but theorists, architects of a pedagogical tradition that predates and exceeds any institution that tried to contain it.
Currently featured are two resources. More curriculum resources are in development.
